Good product/ outlet timer

I used this product for other items in my house. It works good. I've started using it for my aquarium lights. It lets you chose: 1/2 hr, 3hr, or 6hr. When I get up in the morning all I do is press a button and lights are on for 6 hrs. At night when going to bed I have a bubble wand blue LED strip that one uses another one of these set at 1/2 hr. The only drawback is that for a power strip you need a small outlet extender.

I recommend the Hydrofarm Digital timer from Amazon. It controls everything daily without me lifting a finger. Lots of control options. The reviews are not 5 star mostly because people did not read the instructions. My timer turns lights on when I wake up, then turn them off a couple hours later when I go to work. Then on again when I come home. Off again when I go to bed. Total ON time about 9 hrs per day plus some sunlight from windows. Digital means the on and off times are super precise and can be customized to have different schedule each day of the week if needed.

Does the timed side let u have different times for each timed outlet? I have a timed power strip, too. But all the timed outlets are either all on or all off. Does yours let u set each outlet?

No, both outlets run on the same time. Basically the second outlet is useless. I just plug a power strip to one timer outlet and plug 6 lights onto the power strip. You can chain as many power strips needed as log as the devices total under 15 amps at startup and under 1700 watts.

Good product/ outlet timer

Mine has 4 (same time) timed and 4 always on. I didn't know that when I bought my power strip. I thought I'd be able to customize all 4 timed. So I just have all 8 always on.

That's why I like those other ones to use 6hr for regular light and as1/2 hr sleep timer for moonlight.

I found the extenders that I use, they double the outlet. ( I couldn't find them b4). http://www.amazon.com/Ziotek-ZT12125...otek+%28222%29
