Ground wire needed?

Hey,

I just bought a 500W halogen flood light fixture. The output came with three wires. I know how to install the thing; i just dont know if i need to connect the ground wire. And if so; where and how to?

You should ground it in my opinion. Especially if the fixture came with the ground wire attached.

To ground it, you simply need to connect the ground wire coming out of the fixture to the ground wire on the cord you are wiring the light to.
