Heater Controllers

OK, So what is the skinny on controllers? Which one is the best for the $$?
I haven't found yet that has a good review. Either the heater has failed or the controller has failed. I am open to suggestions.

Hard to beat a Ranco temp controller. I use a 2 stage that controls my heaters and fans.
