Heater Positioning?

Whats the best place to put a submersible heater? I have all Visi-Therm Deluxe heaters and love them, my 30gal long has it in the middle horizontally and both my 30gal tall and 10gal both have them vertically in the back corners. Whats the best place to put them for heat distribution?

Somewhere there is good flow. I put mine right between the intake and spraybar of the filter so water is constantly moving past it.

I put mine next to my phs. Some folks like them in their sump/fuge, to alleviate clutter in the main.
