Hey I need some help

I spend 30 bucks or so a month on filter cartridges is there anyway I can find a cheaper alternative I’m 16 don’t have a job so 30 to 40 doesn’t come easy for me

What kind of filter do you have ? Most can be rigged to use cheaper filter materials . my best advice would be to save up and get an AquaClear filter .You can use a lot of different materials in these .

Haven't had to replace the AquaClear media forever. Save tons of money.

To keep the BB / beneficial bacteria alive rinse media with treated/ dechlorinated water and lasts years!

Stop falling into the believe that you need new filter media like the stores want.

Many ways to skin this cat, but do some research and try something out that you feel comfortable with.
