Hood and light question

I actually have 2 questions. First one is concerning what kind of bulb to get. It's a 40G Tall non planted tank. I have been using just a standard freshwater bulb, but I'm not all that pleased by the light output. I really like how my moon light brings out certain colors. Should I just stick with the same kind of bulb ot can I go with something else?

I'm also looking for a new hood and light fixture. I really like the hoods that are all glass and lay flat over the tank with the light fixtures that sit raised above the tank. I've seen them all over the place, but now that i want to buy one, I can't find it anywhere. Anyone have any clue what I'm talking about?

well i found the canopy I was looking for, just not the light. I don't like the ones that rest flush on the canopy. I want the free standing that attach at the edges of the tank and sit about 4" off it.
