Hospital tank

I started a thread like this in another area and didn't get an answer yet so I'm going to try here:

Do you keep your hospital tank setup all the time or just keep it handy in case it's needed and set it up only on an as is basis?
Just wondering what your thoughts were on this?

I keep a 10 gallon ready to use, and extra sponge filters running in my established tanks so I can move them over when needed.

Currently I just dumped a bunch of sword fry in my QT. but usually only occupant is a huge ball of java moss.
