how often do you need to change??

I have a fulval canister filter. i was just wondering how often you need to change/replace the media. thanks in advance.

depends on what media you have in there,,, carbon/purigen/GFO/etc..

exactly what came with the system. carbon chips and i think live rock rubble.

The canister should be cleaned at least monthly, replacing the carbon once/month and cleaning the canister of debris from the liverock and other gunk.
