How to Calculate Tanks Size

Working out how many litres amount of
Marine fish
I have 170 litre main tank plus 100 litre sump does this make 270 litre worth of fish

No,calculate it as 170,its more the size the fish will grow too rather than fish/ltr.

The sump will help maintain good water quality in a heavily stocked tank, but you still only have 170L of physical space for your fish.

Have had tank drilled 2 outs in weir
Drains into rowa carb bag then into skimmer section, which flows into
7 inch DSB then into return section with return pump . I also have a fluval 405 that outs and return to this section .
Would you put a rowa phos in a fluid reactor or put rowa phos in my fluval 405
And what other media would you have in

To calculate a tank's capacity in gallons or liters, go to the website Fishlore.com and click on Aquarium Calculations. You will find a complete and automatic sheet for all calculations, including odd-size aquariums.
