how to remove a painted background.
i bought an aquarium with a blue painted on background and i liked it at first but now i want a black back ground. it's easy to peal off should i just do that or is there an easier way to remove the paint?

It depends. Is it latex paint? If it is, it should be pretty easy to peel off using a razor blade (I am assuming a glass aquarium here).

it is glass and i believe it is latex

ok... it should peel off fairly easy with a razor blade. Be careful not to scratch the glass, but it shouldn't scratch too easily.

jus did that with my tank and i used a razor blade. very easy
