Intentions for live stock?

I don't have personal experience with them, but I see they fairly pricey! Hydor usually makes good stuff though. I use their PH.

I got a 70 gallon with 6 fair sized fish and coral it's rated for 300 gallon roughly

Hi I can't help you with that skimmer, but I use an aqua medic turboflotor blue 1000. This skimmer can be used on a tank upto 125g. I use mine on a 55g tank & it's doing great.
