I curently have 150 dual vho's on my tank and my new metal halide bulb is very yellow it seems to me, its a 10,000 K, thats all i really know about it the box doesnt say however is there a more blue bulb?

10,000K will give you more of a white appearence. If you are not supplimenting the MH with any VHO or CF actinics, then you might want to look at a 14,000k or 20,000k bulb. The higher the number the more blue the light will apprear.

Hey Ryan, I got 14K in stock. I wouldn't try the 175 20,000k due to the lack of light output intensity. The 14 will give you a nice blue color but you can also keep your vho actinics for more blue in the tank.

It takes a couple of weeks to months for the bulb to burn in and show it's true color output.
