A FLUORESCENT BULB!


Just wondering what looks best on a 10 Gallon tank with a sand substrate?
Any info Before I buy one?

BTW Its NOT a planted tank.

the best thing to do is take your burnt out bulb over to Home Depot or Lowes for a replacement. The aquarium store is going to charge you an arm and a leg for the same thing that "phillips" makes. As far as color goes... it will tell you on the box, I don't like really yellow colored bulbs, stick with the ones with a cripse color and it will bring out the color of your fish more... the ones will state "ultra white" or something like that. Thats my .02

Actually it had no bulb until I found one in my fish storage under 44 Gallon.
Which was bad *flickering* when I tested on 2 hoods.

I was thinking of going with the sun-glo or the aqua-glo or maybe the all glass bulb. What do you think?
