inline heaters worth it?

As i'm finishing the set up of my 40 gal, I'm having to buy a new heater. I was just going to go with a rena 300 watt submersible heater, but I found I can get a 200 watt inline heater for about $15 more. Here's the heater:

I kind of like it as I'm really going for the clean look this time. So the less cords and airlines I have to run into the tank, the better.
