is my skimmer wotking

hello. on tuseday i set my prizm skimmer up. im getting lots of bubbles in the body of the skimmer. but nothing in the collection cup. some times i see a bit fome in bit that the cup is attached to. all so i got a few micro bubbles in the tank. my lfs told me that it will settle down after a dit of time is this right. meny thanks

All skimmers go through a "break-in" period where they don't do much. Give it a week and see how things are.

It needs a few days to break in , but if you have no fish then you wont collect much.

Yes I would give it a week or two to break in. Moving this to the General hardware and equipment discussion.
