Is the Fluval surface skimmer compatible with the larger Fluval FX5?

Bought Fluval's surface skimmer but am concerned that is might only be compatible with the smaller series of 405 etc canister filters, and not the larger Fluval FX5 canister filter.

Does anybody know if it will fit or if there is a connector one can buy?

The return hose is a semi-flexible plastic so I am not sure how easy it would be to rig something up (at least for me, I am all thumbs).

I feel sort of funny talking to myself on this thread (LOL) but I have an answer from Hagen-Fluval and thought I would share it.

Hagen makes no surface skimmer for their FX5 filters.
