Iam looking into a BLUELINE MH ballast and pendant. Is this a good brand?

Do you have a link to the stuff? Blueline makes a few different types of ballasts. Their pendant isn't anything special, but it's not bad. There are better 1's out there.

I didnt have a link, someone my friend knows is selling it for 120.
What do you all think? Good price?

That's a good price for the ballast and pendant. What size tank is this for? Unless it's around 30" deep or more, 400w is overkill.

It is actually 30" exactly. I think I will have to strategically place certain corals at certain depths.
