I bought a jebao filter, and fitted it to my fish tank yesterday.
This morning I got up and there's a pool of water surrounding the filter, and it's coming out of the clips that are used to fasten the top motor part, to the bottom media part. I have taken the filter apart, couldn't see why there was a problem and put it back together again. It's not leaking at the moment, but I'm concerned it will. I've attached a photo of where the water is coming from. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks xImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1404411216.195558.jpg

IMO it's common to for a seal to not reseal occasionally. When I ran canister filters are used keep them in a 5 gallon bucket for this reason. After cleaning I would check it several times before I felt secure it was not leaking. Good luck!
