Juwel 3.0 protein skimmer?

Any experience with these? Sounds like a great way to convert my tank.

They are AWFUL, my LFS tested one on the vat that they cure the live rock in and it skimmed Nothing in 3 weeks.

They then put a detec on there and it was ripping out foul scum within 5 minutes.

Skimmers are the best example I can think of buy cheap, buy twice. If you buy one of these you are wasting your £.

Are you in the uk? There are exceptions to this, bubble magus and reef octopus are cheap (relatively speaking) but actually work. Trust me, if you buy that juwel thing you will regret it.

Just my 2p
