Does anyone know much about this? Someone said it creates no waste water and its one of the purest filters out right now. I think it's worth the extra $100 over ebay price, unless they had one on ebay. Does anyone else have one of these?

heres a link...

a RO/DI will give you very similar quality water.. (of couse RO has wastewater)
thats a DI only unit (one stage for + and one for - ) with a carbon prefilter.. and it doesnt have waste water issues

but.. I would investigate the cost of replacement media and life expectancy.. (the DI resuns can be recharged but when do they get exausted?)

and the DI only unit has double the output rate of a RO based unit.. this could be helpfull for some people (or in emergencies)

Kent marine would likely give you alot of info on the product..

btw.. I had no clue that these things had gotten this affordable.. its been a long while since I looked.. :P
