Light timer compatible with solarmax lights

I recently picked up a solarmax t5 ho 230, and I love it!
The only problem is, it has little moonlight LEDs That are supposed to run after you turn the main bulbs off. The only problem is, when hooked to my light timer, the circuit shuts off completely when I want the lights to turn off. Anyone know of a timer that would shut the main lights off but keep the little LEDs on?

i take it the unit runs to a single plug??

my guess is that no u cant then. like u said a timer will cut the power so the whole system goes dead. best bet would probably be to do it manualy or get a secondary led light for the night
