Lighting for a freshwater non-planted tank

I have a 60 gallon tank and have two 18" 15 watt fluorescent fixtures. They are Power-Glo bulbs, 18000 K. Should this be sufficient or do I need more light?

I read one place that a recommended level is 1-3 watts per gallon. And I'm barely hitting on 0.5 watts per gallon.

that is only for planted tanks, without plants you should be fine.

Ya you should be perfectly fine if you don't have real plants.

I will add that 18K is pretty blue? you may want to look into something lower in Kelvin to get a warmer glow. depending on teh fish and aquascaping.
