I'm starting up my 55 gallon, and making it planted. I want good lights, but the problem is one of the light fixtures keeps burning out whatever light you out into it.
These look like Aqueon hoods.
The one on the left is the "broken one". The fixture on the left seems to be doing fine.
The camera makes the light loom blue on the right one but it's actually reddish. Good for plants.

On the broken one, you might want to remove the starter (cylindrical shaped silver thing...twist and pull out), bring it to a hardware or lighting store and get a replacement.

Ah, that's what those are called. I'll bring those in and see.
