Hey Everyone -

So I'm a total nerd, and was wondering if anyone has successfully set up a live feed for their home aquarium? I mean - I know it's possible - the technology exists, but I'm curious if anyone is doing it and what kind of equipment they are using to do it. How do you deal with reflections? What kind of cost am I looking at for the right equipment? I understand the bandwidth issue, I'm talking strictly about hardware. My internet connection is insane for up/down speed.

Thanks for any advice.

Andrew

I haven't done it but a few people I knew in other forums did. They used standard webcams and had all the lights off in the room and closed the curtains so there was less glare/ reflection on the glass. One person had the camera right up against the glass but others had cameras a foot or two away. They just had the webcams connected to their pcs and let it stream live.
