Hello, I've had the Penn Plax Cascade 1200 canister for about a month for my 60 gal. It worked great, however, cheap plastic clamps broke and now it won't seal. I'm returning it, and was wondering about pros and cons, or basically which canister filter would be best for me; Marineland Magniflow 360 or the Fluval 360.

I have a 60 low tech planted aquarium, and I just am really wondering easy of maintenance, durability, and if one of these will give me several years of filtration. Those kinds of things.

Thank you for your time and thank God for warranties!

Oh or if you have any other suggested canister filters PLEASE throw them out, my budget is no more than $180, right now I have a really crappy hob emergency filter, I'm open to the best that I can afford right now.

Hi, i agree with the eheim, I've had my one for about 7 or 8 years now and never had a problem with it, still going like the day I got it :D
