Does anyone have a personal review on the Maxi-jets? I'm planning to purchase one but there are tons of contradicting reviews

They're terrible for sw IMO . They basically put out straight flow in one direction and it's quite strong.

Yeah, the hydor koralias are the best power head on the market. I would highly recommend them.

They aren't. They're nice but nowhere near the best. Nvm this is freshwater, it really doesn't matter as the powerhead doesn't need to create specialized currents. Koralias would be fine

Well I decided to order it today. It has 3 options to use in 1 so I can always alternate it to the 1300gph circulation pump if needed

Hi I purchased a maxi jet 1200 I've had it for 1 week the impella shattered maybe a bad one I ordered a new impella will see what happens with one. Good luck ????
