Yup it will work perfectly, nice to see other DIYers making their own MH setups for 1/3 the price. Cheers!

Not to start a war but before I posted here I also posted on RC and got almost the opposite answer. This is what I got from RC "The Advance 71A3592 ballast is a Constant Wattage Autotransformer (CWA) 250-watt mercury vapor (ANSI H37) ballast. It will not operate metal halide lamps properly. That ballast will operate the 250-watt Iwasaki 6500K Clean Ace conversion metal halide lamp but it’s not the recommended ballast type by the lamp manufacturer." I know that some advance ballasts work fine but is this model specific to only the iwasaki 6500K?

71A3592 is a for a mercury lamp H37. You need a ballast that will fire a M58 bulb, which is what the Hamilton is, such as the Advance 71A5700.
