mini HOB fuge

on my current setup i have a fuge/sump that is full of mysid shrimp and pod, would a converted aquaclear 20 be of any help in supplying pods directly to my tank?

I am asking becasue in the future I would like to have a mandarine gobie and my current 6-line wrasse, or is that just wishful thinking?
