I'm looking at the mj1200 for my fowlr and wanted to make sure I get the right1
I want the Italian model not the Chinese model
I think if it says cobalt it's the good 1
Is this correct?

You are correct - I will say though that I have had issues with the last 2 cobalt MJ1200's I have had as well. I don't think I'll be buying another. The impeller shaft ends are not sealed up appropriately or something and both of my pumps suffer from binding with the impeller.

So what are your recommendations for a 55g fowlr

That I am not sure as I haven't replaced mine with anything yet. I just know I am going to have to in the next couple of months as it is starting to have the same issue as the other one did when I replaced it.
