Hi,
I am trying to find the ideal setup for concentrated, powerful bluelight energy (420nm) to cover an area the size of a person's face. So far, this is what I've found.

I need:

t5ho pure actinic bulbs - ideal spectrum w/ most 420nm concentration
high bay fixture - for a more concentrated light
2 compact units of 4x18" length - about the right size - approx. 1.5ft x 7" x 2"

Is there anything else I don't know that could help me achieve an ideal setup? How can I get this for the cheapest price? Do any lamps of this size sell bundled with pure actinic (420nm) lights?

Thank you for your help. :D

Your best bet is to probably buy the components separately (ballasts, endcaps, reflectors) and make your own. Pretty sure the shortest T5HO bulbs are 24"... but I could be wrong. Look over the "retrofit systems" section at Aquarium Lights Hellolights.com - they have a good selection of do-it-yourself type stuff.

Many of the commercially made fixtures will either ship without bulbs, or let you pick what bulbs you want shipped with them.
