my canopy problem need to make a new one sugesstions?

Hey guys. Some of you may have seen I just started to cycle my tank and now I have a small problem. The canopy which hold my light and stuff is not gonna cut it. I will have to make a new one. What would be best to use? I Was thinking a peice of plexy glass this way the light get through it fine and Wont evaporate the water to much. Or do you think I should go a different way. Keep in mind a new one probley wont fit because of the powerhead.

plexi warps from heat and just plain gravity, entirely too quickly.

needs to be glass, hardened acrylic, or something like lexan (which is spendy!)

Most folks don't cover the tops of SW tanks. Evaporation will help you keep your temps down under strong lighting. Depends on your lighting. What are your lights? MH's will definetly raise the temp.

just a marine glow antinic blue or however its spelled. I need to another another I know but buying a new light housing at the local harware store next pay
