Nano cube light/fan problem

Need any advice available on this hood someone purchased a used nano setup for me in exchange for setting up their reef. The lights work but the fans do not cut on. This is my first time using one of these tanks/hoods so not real familiar with how it supposed to run.
Any suggestions on how to get the fans on or what I am missing in order to do that??

The fans come on with the lights and are just computer fans so you can change them out pretty easily, also the fans are usually the first thing that goes on them for some reason.

I know that fans should have came on with the light but nope. I took the hood back to the LFS owned by a rally nice family and they are fixing it free of charge which was just so nice considering it was purchased used as is
