need new pump

I have a 500 gallon tank trying to find some info on pumps.mainly trying to find out how meny ghp i need i know the pump i have is not big enough if any one could help that would be great.

How many overflows and what are the drain sizes. are you looking for external or in sump pumps. A good rule of thumb is 7-9x your tank volume / hour.

one overflow in the center of the tank two one inch durso stand pipes into four drain under cabnit.the pump that i have now is inch and a half inlet and outlet i thonk the only problem is that my tank is 4ft tall and the pump is about 6ft from the top of the tank
