New Skimmer

I'm looking at purchasing a skimmer for our 75g.

Can anyone chime in with suggestions and/or personal experiences with their equipment?

Is $250 an unrealistic budget for this purchase? I know it won't be top of the line, but I'm trying to stay within a set budget. TIA.

EDIT: Sorry. Due to space limitations, this needs to be a HOB.

IMO the Aqua-C Remora Pro would be a great choice.

I'll second Lindsay's advice. I've got the Pro with the Mag3 pump on my 46g.

This skimmer will be replacing the red sea skimmer. It's not the best skimmer, but it was our starter equipment.

It developed a leak at one of the corner seams, so I'm trying to lean towards a cylindrical (sp?) skimmer like these. I don't think the HOT-1 is rated for >50 gallons, and I'm not sure if the Series-E is a HOB.
