Noisy filter

I have a few Aquaclears that I have recently has to put into service after 10 years of storage in the basement. Most seem to be working fine except they are EXTREMELY noisy. Is this just from lack of use and they will eventually get quieter or is there some kind of maintenance I can do to make them quieter

Look for videos on how to take them apart and give the workings a good going over. Should clear it up for you pretty well.

take the aquaclears apart and give them a good cleaning if that does not work you can try changing the impellers and get brand new ones.

Take apart and put vaseline on shaft
