Odd happening?!?!?

I have a thin skin like stuff shooting out of the return bar of the canister filter. The material is like a good or mucus when touched. Thoughts? I net Filtered it out and it continued coming. What should I do?

Sounds like a bio film build up in the intake, and return tubes.

Possibly something in the media is reacting with each other inside the canister. Maybe take it apart and see if there is slime inside the canister.
