Ok I am not that savy on all the parts, but the tube connecting the undergravel fliter and the power head(I think that's what its called) broke at the bottom. Should I replace it or will my 55g be ok without it? I have an Aqua Tech power filter 30-60 and a large air stone going.

I would lose the UGF system all together especially if you are running the power filter. UGF have a tendancy to cause more problems than they are worth.

The tube is clear, but actually the tube didn't break. It was the piece from the bottom part that broke off. When my dad had the tank he tried to mess with it and cracked it. I guess when I was trying to take off the top part it completely broke. Tank looks good and clear now.
