What is the best powerhead in everyones own opinion?

For a 75 gal the Maxi-jet 1200, Penguin 1140, SEIO 820, Hydor Koralia 2, Tunze Turbelle Nanostream would all be good choices.

Plan on corals?

Hmmm, you are going to get a few different responses. I like the Hydor Koralia http://www.drsfostersmith.com/produ...&Ntx=mode+matchallpartial&Np=1&pc=1&N=0&Nty=1, they have a wide gentle flow. I also had some SEIOs, but they were bulky in my 55G and I had them lock up a few times. They have a nice adjustable flow pattern. Maxi Jets are great for a strong central flow.

Best- Tunze. But you pay for it. I like my Seio, but it's a little bulky. Koralia seem like good, affordable PH,s and come w/ magnet mounts. As Roka said, MJ PH's produce a jet stream of water. They are cheap and last forever though. The koralia, tunze, and seio have large, gentle flow patterns and use less energy. That seems to be the design of the "new generation" of PH's.

Does anyone have any direct experience with the Tunze Nano Stream 6025s?

Seems like a more compact package than the new Hydors, but in looking around the net I read things like "quiet... can hardly hear it." Seems like if you can "hardly" hear it, it's still too loud in my book! I've got MaxiJets, and the only way I can tell if they're on is to look at the flow pattern as I can't hear anything from them.
