The local walmart near me has a water dispenser called "primo" I was wondering if this was a good quality water for my saltwater tank. The primo 4 stage filtration process is sediment filters, activated carbon filters, reverse osmosis, and ultraviolet light. I know a RO/DI unit would be best but as of now i can not afford one and 33 cents a gallon of primo water would better suit me. If anyone can help me out i would appreciate it. Thanks.

Well, I have heard good and bad - and it really comes down to how often they are serviced, and how hard the water is that is going in - best bet would be to get a gallon and test it using a TDS meter so you can see how effective the RO membrane is on the particular machine. If it is only a few ppm TDS, it would be fine to use. If it is much higher, than it won't provide much benefit over using tap water.
