Problem with Eheim Filter

Hi! I have an Eheim 2213 external filter. I've had it now for about 5 or 6 years and absolutely love it. However, there has been a rattle that developed and is really annoying. I thought maybe something like a pebble got stuck in the propeller, so I took it all apart and put it back together. The noise is still there. I've tried to prime it multiple times following the instructions, and it still continues to make that noise. I've even shaken the canister around a little to dislodge any air bubbles that might be there, but it didn't work.

Last time this happened, it took a few days for the noise to go away. This has never happened when I bought the filter and just wondered if anybody can offer any assistance.

how does the impellor shaft and rubber pads look? do they fit tightly into the impellor housing?

That's probably it. The bushings will shrink with age, and this will rattle like mad.
