Angry Protein filter

I have just purchased a protein filter and hooked up just like the directions said to. The problem that I have now is that there is a light haze of micro bubbles in the tank. I have rechecked the bubble diffuser and water level is almost 1 inch from the bottom of the diffuser. It is a coral life skimmer. Will these go away eventually ? If not how serious is this problem? I would like to fix it though. I have the pump for that and my wet/dry in the sump.

Actually it's called a protein skimmer and the microbubbles will go away after the skimmer breaks in. Give it 2 weeks to break in.

Is the whole skimmer in the sump or just the pump?

I agree with Larry. Give it a chance to break in.
