Python help please

I LOVE my Python watet change system for getting rid of the multiple bucket trips on water change day with 400+ gallons of tanks to do
I HATE that because most the tanks are on the same level as the sink they drain into so it takes SO long to do if I don't keep the tap running to pull the it from the tanks but floods my septic if I do keep it running. I *assume* I can run a pump to pull the water out but have NO idea HOW to do this, hook it up, what KIND of pump etc.

Assuming you don't want to vacuum the gravel, just add a 1/2" hose to the top. Drop it in to the depth you want the water to drain to and plug it in. Let it go until is starts sucking a little air and you're done.
