Quarantine 5g

Can i use an unfiltered 5g tank for a quarantine tank? No filter or heater just an air stone, I can try to get a heater if I need one plz reply

Unless you have coldwater fish then you def need a heater. I would venture to say that you also need a filter, even if it is just a sponge filter.

A hospital QT just really needs a airstone since meds could kill off the BB ... Besides, one should be doing plenty of PWC's in a hospital QT so the water shouldn't get polluted.

New stock QT I'd say needs a filter since the fish'll be in there for a month at least. .... Either QT should have a heater.

Ok I'll get a heater for it, I guess I'll pick up a cheap filter possibly, if not do active water changes At least for the time being
