Reef octopus 2000 int any good.

Is the reef octopus 2000 int a good skimmer? Anyone have experience with this skimmer? Thanks

never used them myself but I have heard mixed reviews , as some had issues getting them to prim , others love them I have built in skimmers in my sump towers I used saltwater stress coat to get the prim to catch and it always seems to work for me . I'm sure others will chime in as someones got to be using that skimmer.

If I remember correctly I ran this skimmer. I never got it to run right. It was too oversized for my system and bio load.
That said, there have been many members in the past that love these skimmers and others from reef octopus.
