Refractometer question

I have a refrac I bought from like Fosters that was approx $55. The little part (lid) that pulls down over the glass part tha mashes the water against the glass, is breaking. Anyone know where you can get replacement parts?

I would think using a small piece of glass would be fine. I know its not going to look pretty but its cheaper then buying a new meter..
