Removing some glass

I've recently made my tank open top and my tank has those **** glass lips for a condensation tray.

I've managed to remove one quite easily, by pushing a sharp blade through it over and over and over...

The back one is ridiculous, there's not enough gap between the glass and the lip to get into the sealant with a blade, so I've tried floss and fishing line, both snap before I get anywhere worth reporting into it.

Seriously, please help me before I go insane!

Use a high test braided line not monofilament line.

It's all done, managed to cut through about 1cm and my friend gave me a blade which was thin enough to get in and cut through the rest.

About time too.
