Rena Filstar Micro-Filtration Pads repacement

Anybody replacing filstar micro filter pads with something cheaper? I have floss in there now but am looking for a pad of some sort.

I stopped using them all together, they loaded up to fast and restricted flow, water is still crystal clear without them

I dont remember what the cost is but CORALIFE sells a fine filter pad (24"x36") called Pure - FLo. Works great, very large pad so if your cuting it into squares you'll have plenty of extras, and they're reusable after a wash. I use them in my Rena XP filters so flow restriction is not a problem if you do weekly or biweekly maintenance on your filter.
