I have inherited a 29 gallon salt system that has this canister filter attached to it.
I'm not familiar w/ the unit itself but have a question.
I took it apart to clean it and replace the medium because it had been over a year since the previous owner had done so, and now i've notice the filter is no longer silent. It is rather loud but sounds as if some of the medium is rattling around in there maybe?
is this working properly? was it not setup correctly before? it is doing a better job of filtration so I'm curious if I should disassemble it and reinvestigate. THanks ahead of itme.
