I need to replace a bulb in my hood. It says on the hood to use 2g11 55 watt replacement only

The bulb that is in there now is a 55w 10,000k T6

I have been googling and cant find anything. Anyone know a place that carried those lamps or something similar?

There are 2 lamps in the hood but just need to replace one so want to keep it as close to the other bulb as I can. Thanks!

T6 is an oddball size here. I'm only aware of one fixture (cheap chinese import) that uses that size bulb. Try their site for a replacement bulb.

i have that same problem fluffy. i found t6 bulbs but not t6ho except for on aquatraders which cmor linked to. of course the fw bulb they have is just one of those pink ones and i wanted to get one around 6700k which they dont have. i decided that once i need to replace the bulbs i'll just use a t5ho retro fit in the housing.
