Hi Folks!

I've just moved into my own house and with that I get to finally set up a 150g FW tank that's been sitting in my garage for the last 5 years. Have no idea what I'm putting in it yet but here's my problem. I got to unpacking things today and voila!, the sump is too tall to fit under my tank. As I see it, I have two options. I could remove the board shelf under the tank, leaving me to sit the sump on the floor under the tank. While this option is feasible, I would think that access to the sump would be a big PITA with so little room left under there.

My thought was, wouldn't it be better to get like a bathroom vanity cabinet. House the sump inside that cabinet and have it setting to the side of the tank? That way I could just open a door, and have access to the sump AND if I put some foam or something to line the cabinet with, it would cut down on the noise factor. Anyone care to share any thoughts?

I've attached a pic of the tank as it sits in my garage and the sump on the floor next to it.
